Danny Bell, owner of Mountain Choppers, has been designing and building custom choppers for over 30 years beginning with knuckles, pans and shovels in the early days to his latest creations, elegant one-of-a-kind choppers.<\/span><\/p>\n

Danny’s trademark designs feature clean lines, fully functional, rideable motorcycles. As an electrical engineer, Danny’s bikes incorporate features synonymous with quality engineering\/design applications.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mentored by his brother, William Sturgis Bell Jr. (“Berdoo Bill”), he built his first bike at age 18. The 1952 Panhead chopper fueled a lifelong passion for building old school custom Harleys. That first bike, along with his brother’s bike building talents, helped him create many custom bikes throughout the years. “Bebe”, as Danny called his brother, built approximately 200 custom choppers from the late 60’s through the mid-90’s and was well respected throughout Southern California for his bike-building talents.<\/span><\/p>\n

Building bikes in his shop in the mountains of Eastern Washington, he is producing a select amount of top quality choppers for the most discriminating bike enthusiasts. Danny works one-on-one with each customer to incorporate their ideas along with his to create a bike of their dreams. Quality, not quantity, is what drives his passion.<\/span><\/p>\n

When not in his shop, he and his wife of 41 years, Evelyn, can be found in the wind every chance they get.<\/span><\/p>\n
